Bit islands launched its limited public Beta version (https://app.bi.social) in late July. Users holding its Genesis Passport NFT or invitation code can access and experience its features.

Bit islands is the first social protocol that focuses on the web3 native social scenario. As an early form of an aggregated web3 homepage, Beta provides features and values in the following three directions.

1. Web3-native Personal Profile

After connecting wallet, all crypto assets held by the user would be shown in ‘Overview’ section which are updated in real time. Users can view all assets including tokens and NFTs in just one stop. No need to jump back and forth between multiple apps.

Taking vitalik.eth as an example, in different parts of the profile, we can see clearly not only the total value of assets in this wallet and the frequency of transactions, but also the percentage/preference of crypto investments.

2. A Far More Visual & User-oriented Etherscan

We all know that every on-chain activity can be tracked on blockchain browser. However, for users who don’t work in IT industry or have no computer science related degree, it can be quite unfriendly to use a blockchain browser😭
